Moonton Games has unveiled more information about the highly anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2024 (MSC 2024).

In a groundbreaking move, the tournament is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 1 to 14, marking the first MSC event held outside Southeast Asia.

This announcement follows the news that Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is among the esports titles showcased in the Esports World Cup, slated to take place from July to August.

The major highlight of the recent announcement is the record-breaking prize pool, set to be the biggest in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports history.

The tournament features an impressive US$3,000,000 prize pool, surpassing the M5 World Championship’s US$900,000 prize pool.

According to Moonton Games Head of Esports Ecosystem Ray Ng, they are thrilled about the partnership, which marks a new chapter for MLBB esports.

“Alongside teams from new participating regions, this year’s iteration presents boundless opportunities for more regions to participate, in line with our vision to expand MSC and MWI to foster greater diversity and inclusiveness,” he wrote.

Here is the list of participating regions for this year’s mid-season cup.

In addition to the MSC 2024 update, the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational will boast an increased prize pool of USD 500,000 and include 12 participating countries.

The tournament will feature regions and countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia & Singapore, China, the Middle East & North Africa, Eastern Europe & Central Asia, the Mekong Region (Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam), Brazil, and North America.

More details about both tournaments will be announced at a later date.
