Saieful “Fbz” Ilham and Farith “Matthew” Puente are the latest additions to Nigma Galaxy’s roster, the organization announced last night.

The additions of these two players mark Nigma’s fourth player change in less than a month, with Daniel “Ghost” Chan and Roman “rmN-” Paley joining and departing the org after just 15 days.

This won’t be Fbz’s first stint in a Western European team. After a lengthy and loyal career with BOOM Esports from 2018 to 2023 where he remained part of the Southeast Asian organization despite numerous roster upheavals.

The offlaner was loaned to Team Secret last year, from June to October. He played at Riyadh Masters as well as The International 2023 qualifiers with the team, but did not qualify for TI12.

Curiously, Matthew’s last team was also BOOM Esports. The organization, traditionally based in Indonesia, made the drastic change to move to the South American region after TI12. Matthew, part of BOOM’s first expansion, left the team in December.

Both Fbz and Matthew are known as immense playmakers through their careers. Fbz’s signature heroes include heavily initiation-based characters like Mars, Beastmaster, and Pangolier.

Matthew’s Nyx Assassin and Rubick are the stuff of legends — recently, his courier-killing shenanigans with the invisible heroes like Bounty Hunter and Riki have helped his teams stay in games that looked unwinnable.

With their core lineup surrounding Miracle- and SumaiL, two players capable of playing greedily, these two playmakers could be a strong fit that control the early game while Nigma’s two cores accelerate.
