Team Heretics is gearing up for League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC Winter 2024) with a powerful roster, welcoming three new players.

Among them are Martin “Wunder” Hansen and Luka “Perkz” Perković.

Wunder and Perkz departed from their previous teams, Fnatic and Team Vitality respectively. They join forces once again with former G2 Esports teammate, Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski.

The trio shares a unique bond forged during their three-year tenure together under the G2 Esports banner, spanning from 2018 to 2020.

During this period, they played a pivotal role in the team’s success, securing numerous championship trophies. Their achievements include clinching four consecutive split victories from LEC Spring 2019 to LEC Summer 2020 and winning at the Mid-Season Invitational 2019.

In 2019, they came close to achieving the coveted golden road — where a team triumphs in all major tournaments throughout the season, including regular splits, MSI, and Worlds — narrowly missing out when FunPlus Phoenix defeated them at Worlds 2019.

This player roster from G2 Esports in 2019, comprising Wunder, Perkz, Jankos, Rasmus “Caps” Winther, and Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle, was the strongest and most popular in the organization’s history.

In addition to Perkz, Team Heretics secured another former player from Team Vitality, support Norman “Kaiser” Kaiser. He played a crucial role in MAD Lions’ success, contributing to their consecutive championships in LEC Spring and Summer 2021.

Jankos and Victor “Flakked” Tortosa, who earned a promotion from Team Heretics’ academy roster before LEC Summer 2023, continue to hold their positions on the team’s starting roster.
