Yin’s ultimate, My Turn, is one of the most unique skills in the game.

Players dread playing against him, especially when they’re using vulnerable heroes in the backline.

My Turn is a game-changer that pulls an enemy into his domain for up to eight seconds. During this time, Yin transforms into the Evil God, Lieh, and gains a significant boost in attack damage.

The catch is that the isolated heroes within the domain are immune to other heroes’ skills, making Yin a formidable force in one-on-one situations.

Unknown to some, there is a way to cancel the activation of this skill so that you will not have to face the evil god in his realm.

When Yin casts his ultimate, there’s a slight delay wherein a red seal will appear around the enemy hero before entering his domain. This is your window to cancel My Turn.

Crowd control is your best friend. By stunning or knocking up Yin using skills such as Saber’s Triple Sweep, you can interrupt the channeling phase of his ultimate.

Knocking back the opponent using the battle spell Flame Shot is also a good option.

Cancelling the skill on reaction is not easy, but still very doable. As soon as the red seal appears, activate your crowd control skill.

However, keep in mind that the ultimate’s cooldown instantly refreshes when canceled, so you should still reposition carefully.

This is why Brody is a good pick against Yin, since he can cancel My Turn with his second skill, Corrosive Strike, and keep his distance afterwards while attacking from afar.
