After months of fan speculation — which only increased after the 2023 World Championship — the League of Legends T1 roster for 2024 is confirmed.

The organization first teased an announcement at 2:10 a.m. on November 22, three days after they won their fourth Worlds title.

As the last standing LCK team in the competition, they went up against LPL fourth seed Weibo Gaming in the final, sweeping them 3-0. This same roster also qualified for the Worlds 2022 final a year before, but lost 3-2 to DRX.

For the 2024 season, they’re going to have a go at it one more time.

At the end of 2023, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok re-signed a three-year contract with the organization that expires in November 2025. Meanwhile, jungler Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun’s contract ends in 2024.

This meant that after Worlds 2023, three of T1’s championship-winning roster were free agents, which caused a lot of speculation within the community.

Even before Worlds started, Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong hinted in an interview with Naver that this lineup could be their last.

All that was put to rest today on November 23, when T1 announced that bot laner Gumayusi, support Ryu “Keria” Min-seok, and top laner Choi “Zeus” Woo-je have all re-signed with the organization.

This is a first in T1 history because even after they won Worlds 2013, 2015, and 2016, none of those championship-winning rosters came back to compete another year in full.

Just yesterday, T1 made another historic announcement — the head coach of their previous championship lineups is making a comeback: Kim “kkOma” Jeong-gyun will lead the Worlds 2023 champions for the new season.
