There is usually a dominant region for each esports game. South Koreans are known to be the best at League of Legends, while Europe dominates the Dota 2 professional scene.
For Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, there’s no doubt that the Philippines takes the top spot. Ever since 2018, pro teams in the country have been winning left and right in international MLBB tournaments, becoming the most successful region in MLBB so far.
Here are all the wins of the region ever since the country’s first win at MSC 2018.

Indonesia is second on the list with five major MLBB tournament wins: EVOS Legends at the M1 World Championship, ONIC Esports at MSC 2019, RRQ Hoshi at MPLI 4 Nations Cup, Alter Ego at ONE Esports MPL Invitational 2020, and ONIC Esports again at ONE Esports MPL Invitational 2021.
Next on the list is Thailand’s IDONOTSLEEP with one championship at the inaugural MSC 2017. Surprisingly, MPL regions Singapore and Malaysia have not won any international tournaments.
