Moblie Legends (MLBB) esports fans are in for a treat this year. The next 12 months will see a total of over 260 match days of MLBB action.

MOONTON Games detailed the upcoming competitive year at a business summit taking place at the M4 World Championship in Jakarta.

After M4 finishes, February will see the MLBB Women's Invitational, followed by regional leagues taking place in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brazil, Cambodia, and the Middle East. There will also be a Turkey National Championships, a Super League for Latin America, and a North America Challenger Tournament.

These competitions will run until May, where the SEA Games 2023 will also feature an MLBB tournament. Shortly after, pro players will have to do their best at MSC 2023 in June, before the World Cyber Games and Snapdragon Pro Series Challenger Mobile Legends: Bang Bang take place in July.

The second round of seasonal leagues will occur from August to October, before the One Esports MPL Invitational in November, followed by M5 World Championship, taking place earlier in November to December this time.

It's crazy packed, and hopefully esports orgs and players won't be burnt out by too much competition.

MOONTON Games is also looking to add more as yet unannounced tournaments, according to its Head of Esports Ecosystem Lead.

"Our tournament roadmap for 2023 is our most comprehensive yet, and we hope to introduce more third-party and nationally sanctioned tournaments this year," said Ray Ng.

"This is an exciting start for us in a jam-packed 2023, and we are open to working with grassroots-level organisers, to professional developers to provide equal opportunities for passionate esports professionals, fans, and players."

But before the 2023 MLBB esports season can commence, a world champion must first be crowned at the ongoing M4 World Championship.

The M4 World Championship will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 1 to 15 January, featuring 16 of the best Mobile Legends teams in the world competing to claim the world championship title as well as the lion's share of the US$800,000 prize pool.

The M4 Knockout Stage will be held from 7 to 15 January in the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan.
