Today we're going to be passing through the western scene of PUBG Mobile for the ongoing (or recently ended for most regions) PMNCs! Just a note, some regions will market their PMNC slightly differently, which is more commonly known as the PUBG Mobile Regional Cups; and we're looking into one of them right now!

This is the PUBG Mobile Latin America Cup (or PMLC)! The PMLC (and other regional cups, which I will take yall in the next posts) functions exactly the same as PMNCs but cover a wider regional level, and its main function is to seed relegated-PMPL and amateur teams to 2023 PMPL.
*Latin America = LATAM

As an overview of the PMLC, the registrations were held from Nov 11th - 20th followed by the open qualifiers from Nov 22nd - 28th. 18 teams from the Qualifier advanced into the Group Stage on Dec 9th - 11th and met up with 14 teams from PMCO and third-party events around Latin America. Only the best 12 teams made it into the Finals.

In the PMLC Finals, 12 qualified teams and 4 relegated teams from 2022 PMPL LATAM Fall battled across 3 days (Dec 16th - 18th) in 18 matches to be crowned the LATAM champion, $10,200 USD prizepool and Top 4 will advance to 2023 PMPL LATAM! The Overall Rankings was as follows:

In the end; Greek Storm, USA Esports, Revoke Esports and OverKnight emerged as the Top 4 to win the PMPL slots. Interestingly enough is none of these 4 teams were the relegated-PMPL teams. Things just got interesting in PMPL LATAM for next year 👀 For more details, head to the event's Liquipedia page;

Next time, we're going to the northern region and close the PMNCs for the Americas.
