Officially titled “Ace the Field”, Free Fire players will experience a thematic takeover that features exclusive content, in-game features, and offline activations with McLaren.

The two brands are looking to merge fanbases with the inclusion of McLaren’s signature cars in the world of Free Fire.

Players will have the opportunity to drive the McLaren P1 around Bermuda, Kalahari, and Purgatory.

If you’re looking to test drive before hitting the road, Free Fire’s Training Island will also feature a race track.

The Free Fire McLaren collaboration will give players the opportunity to look like a racing superstar on the battlefield. As of now, Garena has confirmed that driver’s overalls will be available in the iconic papaya and blue color scheme of McLaren.

Heading into battle, players will be able to flaunt their McLaren fandom with themed Gloowall skins, surfboards, airships, and emotes.

“We look forward to our players enjoying the best of McLaren in Free Fire,” said Harold Teo, producer for Free Fire. “Collaborations like this allow us to deliver new experiences for current players and interest others to try Free Fire out.”

As a gamer himself, McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris will soon join the ranks of Free Fire.

Though not much has been revealed about his participation, Lando Norris will likely become an interactive NPC in the Ace the Field campaign.
