The League of Legends Skarner rework opens up a lot more options for players as Riot Games improves his kit, adding skill expression and skillshots.

A powerful fighter known for his durability, crowd control abilities, and ability to initiate fights, the monster champion finally lives up to his reputation in 2024.

He will also be getting new visual and audio effects, improved design and skins, and new splasharts.

Skarner’s basic attacks, Shattered Earth, Upheaval and Impale, apply a new Quaking effect to enemies. Enemies with three stacks of Quaking take percent max HP damage over time.

Skarner rips a rock out from the ground and uses it to empower his next three attacks with bonus damage, range, and attack speed.

His third and final attack throws the rock into a targeted champ, slowing and dealing bonus damage, ending its effect.

Skarner can recast Upheaval to throw the rock, a skill shot projectile, that explodes on the first enemy hit, dealing the same damage and slow, ending its effect.

Skarner shields himself and slams into ground, releasing a shockwave that damages and slows nearby enemies.

Skarner charges forward ignoring all terrain (he can go through walls!), and grabs the first enemy champion or large monster he collides with.

He can carry them away a short distance. If they collide with terrain, he damages and stuns them on impact.

Skarner impales up to three enemy champions within his effective charge range, damaging and suppressing them.

He gains bonus movement speed for a short time, carrying them with him — even over walls — until the end of the effect.

According to Skin Spotlight, Skarner won’t be able to cast Q, E, or Flash during the ultimate’s duration. The duration is fixed and remains the same no matter how many champions you pull.
